GLA will control strictly during flower picking

The GLA will control agencies and other labour providers very strictly during the coming flower picking season. In 2009 some agencies lost their license because of non–compliance to the laws and regulations or GLA standards.
For better control the GLA will work close with HMRC.
GLA will introduce new guidance on travel schemes

From the 17th February 2010 the GLA will introduce a new guidance for labour providers with travel schemes.
The new guide lines will not allow the labour providers to play with the fees used for transport of employees to projects or customers. Administration fees, Umbrella companies, etc. will be better controlled with these new rules.
